  • Plan and document adds, moves and changes.
  • Document and track inventory of network equipment.
  • Troubleshoot cabling problems by tracing the components of a circuit.
  • Identify and eliminate spare ports and redundant patch cords and jumpers.
  • Create custom report formats quickly.
Simple, Intuitive and Functional

Setting up an MT Crimp database is easy. Simply document the network components, such as PCs, hubs, patch panels, wall jacks and cables, using MT Crimp's pre-defined classes and equipment libraries. Then, upload cable certification results from your OMNIScanner, PentaScanner or CertiFiber products.

Once you have set up the MT Crimp database, you can track location and other information about PCs, printers, hubs and other network equipment.

MT Crimp is easy to use. Its graphical user interface allows you to perform tasks with point-and-click simplicity. Its highly intuitive hierarchical database defines your network in a top-down structure: you can navigate through a network by selecting a building, then a floor, then a wiring closet, then a hub port, and so on. With MT Crimp, you can easily search, sort and print network information - you won't have to rely on outdated paper documentation.

The Right Solution for Everyone

Microtest offers several versions of MT Crimp. All versions are fully compatible with each other and include the MT Crimp viewer, which you can distribute to clients so they can view, search and print databases that you create in MT Crimp Manager, MT Crimp 2000 or MT Crimp 5000.
